Scania L113CRB
After trialling four Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) powered buses, an order was placed in 1992 for the delivery of 100 Scania CNG powered buses. The first vehicle was delivered to State Transit in 1994.
Built by Ansair, the Scania buses are air-conditioned, and feature fabric seating, electronic destination signs and a "kneeling" suspension, which lowers the vehicle providing easier access to customers joining and alighting the bus.
The buses are currently being refurbished, receiving improved seating, new flooring and handrails, and upgraded electronic destination signage.
